Charles Schinner, a QC resident and avid photographer, has traveled to the Galapagos Islands and will share his experience. From the location geography, wildlife on land and in the water, to side trips in Quito and the rainforest, he will share tips and tricks about Ubering in Quito, currency, premium chocolate, birds, and weather site references, plus, lessons learned.
The Galapagos Islands are a collection of islands in the Pacific Ocean. The islands’ distinctive flora and fauna inspired Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution. The Galapagos Islands are now a popular tourist destination, with visitors visiting the many species of birds, reptiles, and other animals that can only be found on the islands. The islands are also designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This will be a presentation that everyone will enjoy. So, come and learn all about the Galapagos Islands and more on Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. in the Kino Center, Ocotillo and Mesquite Rooms. This presentation is open to all QC residents and guests. We look forward to seeing you!
