Eager to catch up on what’s going on with their putting buddies, each week after the ladies finish putting many of them gather at the Oasis Grill for a bit of camaraderie. The first thing they talk about is how they did at that day’s putting and whether they liked the course set-up. Those with the lowest scores, of course, liked the set-up. Then the conversation switches to the upcoming election, their favorite beauty shop, massage therapist, clothing store and nail salon. Travel tips are readily shared. Talk about grandchildren tends to pop up, too.
There will be no putting during the remainder of September while the golf course is closed for overseeding, but putting will resume at 8:30 a.m. on October 5.
