The 2015 Touched By Cancer Support meetings will be held on the second Monday of every other month in the Gold Room of the Madera Clubhouse from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The next meeting will be on March 9, 2015. The Quail Creek cancer support group is open to anyone who has been touched by cancer. The group supports the American Cancer Society (cancer.org or 1-800-ACS-2345) by sharing information about patient programs and cancer research. The Look Good Feel Better program is where cancer patients receive free wigs and make-up at Roberta’s Wigs in Green Valley. The Road to Recovery program provides cancer patients free rides to treatments and is coordinated by Terrie O’Dierno at 648-7192.
