Thank you to the many individuals and local businesses that generously and enthusiastically donated time and raffle items to support the luncheon and fashion show to benefit the American Cancer Society. The overwhelming response by the community made the February 6 event a great success and raised a lot of money for research on all types of cancer. Proceeds from the event will also benefit patient programs such as Road To Recovery which provides transportation to and from treatment for those needing rides and Look Good Feel Better which helps women patients by offering beauty techniques and providing wigs.
Special thanks to Nancy Pantz of Green Valley and the Quail Creek models for the wonderful fashion show enjoyed by all. Thanks also to Cyndy Gierada for providing the musical accompaniment and to all the wonderful volunteers that worked so hard behind the scenes.
The Women of Quail Creek and QC Fights Back Relay for Life, co-hosts for the benefit, are truly appreciative for all the support.
