Mark the calendar for February 6, 2015. The Women of Quail Creek and the Quail Creek Fights Back Relay for Life Team are co-hosting a luncheon and fashion show to benefit the American Cancer Society. Hope and More Birthdays are the dual themes of this year’s event. Tickets at $25 per person first go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on December 15, prior to TWOQC holiday luncheon. The event is open to all women in Quail Creek and the greater Green Valley area. Those wishing to sit together at tables of 10 should purchase tickets together. Checks should be made out to TWOQC Charity Account.
Attendees will be able to purchase the newest, hottest clothes at the Nancy Pantz Boutique which will open at 10:00 a.m. Raffle tickets for gift baskets will also go on sale at that time. The bar and doors will open at 11:30 a.m. Margaritas will be the specialty drink of the day.
Lunch will feature Nogales chicken and cake (it’s a birthday theme, so naturally there must be cake). Then Nancy Pantz of Green Valley will delight the audience with a fashion show featuring all the newest looks and colors. Quail Creek models will grace the runway parading in outfits to demonstrate different stylish ways to wear and accessorize the clothing. Cyndy Gierada will provide the musical accompaniment.
The Style Show/Luncheon planning committee is seeking donations for the gift baskets to be raffled off that day. Think of desirable fun items to help fill themed baskets. Handmade crafts and jewelry, gift certificates for restaurants, spa items, specialty foods, wine and wine glasses are all good suggestions. Empty baskets are also needed.
