2016-2017 TRIPS spotlights Tucson and beyond

The Quail Creek TRIPS committee members have already been hard at work researching possible day trips for residents.

This is an all-volunteer committee that works closely with the POA Liaison Gil Lusk in planning fun, exciting, interesting day trips in and around Tucson.

In past years, trips have been planned to the Mirror Lab, Kartchner Caverns, Flandrau Science and Planetarium, Behind-the-Scenes at the Zoo, Gaslight Theater, Intro to riding the streetcar, Taste of Tucson and many more. Committee members feel the 2016-17 planned trips will be as successful.

Monthly trips are planned October through May. All trips are open to Quail Creek residents. TRIPS announcement articles appear one month prior to the trip in the Quail Creek Crossing. Details of the specific trip are announced in the What’s Happening usually three days prior to registration. Reimbursed carpools provide transportation to events. A group lunch is part of the planned day. Reservations are always taken by the friendly staff at the Concierge Desk. Cash is preferred and reservations are non-refundable.
