Who Shot JR? A Musical Murder Mystery is coming to the Crystal Ballroom stage of the QC clubhouse on Feb. 2, 3, and 4, 2023. This will be the 14th written and produced by Davey Jones (Joey Reynolds in the show). Don’t be fooled by his stage name initials—the following cast members also have the same initials (JR): Theresa Lewis, Dodie Prescott, Sandi Hrovatin, Mike Vance, Pam Campbell, and Chris Moravchik.
Tickets will be on sale at the Member Services desk (and online) starting Wednesday, Dec. 14, for a two-course meal, tax, gratuity, and show for $37.50. Tables of up to eight will be available, and the partition will be closed to make a more intimate event. The meal will consist of pork loin, slow roasted with demi apple and haricot vert, roll and butter, and coffee with German chocolate cake.
Shows will begin promptly at 6 p.m., and after a brief opening act, the main course will come out at 6:15 p.m. Following the hilarious Act 2, dessert will be served as the “questionnaires” go out. Solve the mystery to have a chance at a prize.
Musical numbers include those made famous by The Pointer Sisters, Steve Winwood, Dusty Springfield, Johnny Nash, Rod Stewart, Barbra Streisand, and The Three Degrees.
Get a group of friends and neighbors together and buy early. These shows have traditionally sold out fast, just like last February’s Law and Disorder show.
