Come on down to Sweetgum, Texas and meet the three Verdeen cousins – Gaynelle, Peaches and Jimmie Wyvette, along with some of the town’s other interesting residents. The cousins are planning a family reunion and you are invited! So, what could possibly go wrong? Just about everything! Did we mention that Peaches is a mortuarial cosmetologist?
The Red Velvet Cake War by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten, is the spring production of the Quail Creek Performing Arts Guild. The hilarious insanity happens on April 6, 7 and 8 at the Madera Clubhouse Ballroom. Seating is cabaret style with eight to a table. Dessert will be served at intermission, along with coffee and tea. Trust us on this one, if you enjoy a good laugh you will want to be there.
The cast includes many of your friends and neighbors: Sandy Boyer, Audrey Fatula, Dodie Prescott, Pam Campbell, Diana Paul, Jerry Smith, Sandy Haegele, Nancy Gibbs, Ray Hebert, Andy Bailey and Tal Middleton.
