The American Red Cross Blood Drive – November 15

Nancy Planck, Activities Coordinator

The American Red Cross is so grateful to all their partners that continue to stand with us through the evolution of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Hundreds of thousands of donors and blood drive hosts have responded to the call to support the lifesaving mission and we can’t thank you enough!

Quail Creek’s commitment to host a blood drive with the Red Cross truly makes a difference! We had 31 donors and 30 units collected! These were much needed units, and potentially 90 lives saved! Quail Creek had four first time donors (WOW). The efforts of Quail Creek have always been greatly appreciated, and their support of the community blood program will go a long way toward replenishing blood supplies and ultimately share this life-saving gift. Thank you for being a true hero!

The American Red Cross is holding the next Blood Drive on Sunday, Nov. 15, in front of the Kino Conference Center, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. For your safety and the staff’s, only four donors will be allowed in the bloodmobile at one time. Please do not show up too early for your appointment. Please practice social distancing at six feet apart. No walk-ins will be accepted. To schedule an appointment, call 800-733-2767, or log on to www.redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code ‘quailcreek’.
