Peggy Brown generously offered her home for our March 13 meeting attended by approximately 25 nurses. Adrianne O’Brien, FNP spoke about the Green Valley Fire District Nurse Practitioner Assessment Program. She is now the full-time Nurse Practitioner and discussed the type of illnesses/injuries she has seen. If you cannot get an appointment with your doctor and are not ill enough to call 911, you can call the nurse practitioner appointment line at 520-428-0550. Most visits are covered by insurance, but it’s best to check with your insurance company.
After the program everyone enjoyed the delights of the tapas bar (Diane Markowski’s great idea) and desserts. No one has ever left our meetings hungry!
