Whatever the season, the Lady Putters dress for the occasion. Whenever there is a holiday, you will find them attired in the theme of the day: green on St. Patrick’s Day, red for Valentine’s Day, Halloween attire in October. But they also take their putting seriously and strive to improve their handicaps on the putting green. For many this weekly putting practice translates into better scores on the golf course.

The Putters meet on the putting green every Wednesday throughout the year. From now until the beginning of May they assemble on the Madera patio at 9:30 a.m. with putting beginning at 10:00.

Ladies are invited to try out the group twice before making a commitment to join. Dues are $15 for the year. Those joining now will have dues paid through December 31, 2016. If someone wants a visor, there is an additional $10 fee. There is also a $1 weekly fee for putting
