“I Got Rhythm” is the theme of this summer’s Community Chorus concert under the direction of Tamara Kahrimanis, accompanied by Marilyn Schum on piano, Leslie Carter on bass, Nanci Evans on clarinet and Mike Finkelstein on trumpet. You will be entertained with a medley of songs by George Gershwin, John Rutter’s When the Saints Go Marching In, Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah and selections from Les Mis which includes the rousing Do You Hear the People Sing. The concert will be held on Saturday, September 15, at 7:00 p.m., at CPAC, 1250 W Continental Road, Green Valley. Tickets are $15 and can be obtained at communityperformanceart.org or call 399-1750.
