Caring Hearts & Hands of Quail Creek (CHHQC) is grateful to a group of anonymous donors who are matching all gifts up to $10,000 in support of Youth On Their Own (YOTO). This matching fund runs through Feb. 28, 2026. With the upcoming YOTO Fashion Show, which is to raise funds for YOTO, this is a terrific opportunity for both attendees and the community at large to help Pima County’s youth experiencing homelessness stay in school, access basic needs, and build the path toward high school graduation and self-sufficiency.
Your contribution today helps open doors to mentorship, education, and opportunities that every young person deserves. When you give now, you are doubling the support that empowers students to stay focused, stay safe, and stay on track to graduate.
And your donation by check to YOTO allows you to take an Arizona Charitable Tax Credit for the 2025 tax year, as YOTO is recognized as a Qualifying Charitable Organization (QCO).
The 2025 tax year maximum tax credit is limited to:
$1,009 for married filing joint taxpayers, and
$506 for single, head of household, married filing separate taxpayers.
Arizona QCO credit can be claimed on the 2025 tax return until April 15.
And making a QCO donation to YOTO serves youth without your spending a dime, as the credit directly offsets state taxes owed. The QCO code for YOTO is 20365.
Fashion Show attendees can contribute by check during the Fashion Show, and Quail Creek residents who are not attending the Fashion Show can drop off a check at the following residence: 531 N. Keyes (there is a small box marked “YOTO” on a table next to the front door).
Please make your check out to Youth On Their Own.
