On June 6 we commemorate the 70th anniversary of D-Day 1944.
Think about what this means to the brave men and women who wore the uniform of the United States military and courageously fought for freedom. They were 18, 19 and 20 years old in 1944. Today they’re pushing 100.
The French government is commemorating that day by inviting all of the Allied powers that fought in World War II to help celebrate this anniversary.
SOS WWII VETS is asking the men and women of this community to help find these remaining veterans. We ask that you send us their name and address so that we may contact them and ask them to join us on a free trip back to Normandy not only to commemorate the day, but to also pray for the fallen.
Kindly respond by May 15, 2014. SOS asks the men and women of this Robson Community to donate whatever they can for this cause. Donations can be sent to our P.O. Box or made through our PayPal account on our website (SOSWW2VETS.org). On behalf of all those that will make this trip, our staff thanks you for your generous donation and cooperation.
As always, we thank God for blessing this great country we call America.
