Valley Assistance Services (VAS) sends its thanks to the residents of Quail Creek who were involved in the many facets of making Empty Bowls 2019 a huge success. Over 500 people attended the event held at Valley Presbyterian Church. Twenty-two restaurants, including the Grill, provide the delicious soups for the meal. The Quail Creek Pottery (POTS) and Ceramics Clubs created and donated over 300 bowls. Almost 50 volunteers came together to help with Empty Bowls to include some from Quail Creek who assembled the 69 baskets that led to a very profitable raffle which several residents were fortunate enough to win.
