Upcoming and Continuing Community Audits

Curb Ramps

With the new addition of Section 3.8Curb Ramps to the ALC Guidelines, an audit of curb ramps will be starting in September. If you have not yet submitted a permit application for your curb ramp, please do so as soon as possible. Along with the permit application, please include manufacturer information on the curb ramp.

Landscaping Around Utility Boxes and Fire Hydrants

Many utility boxes and fire hydrants are becoming inaccessible due to the growth of plants and landscaping. Please take a moment to inspect your property and trim any plants that may be obstructing access.

Refreshing your landscaping, or starting your initial landscape, please keep in mind:

All lot drainage must be away from fire hydrants, meter boxes and utility pedestals.

No plants shall hinder utility maintenance or access to utilities or fire hydrants.

Plants must be two feet from the curb.

Garage Door Audit

The ALC is continuing its garage door audit. Please inspect your garage door. If it needs to be painted or otherwise requires attention, please submit a permit to the ALC Office. With this permit application, please include the paint color to be used.

Trash Container Audit

Trash container audits will be ongoing to ensure containers are stored out of neighbors’ view.

If you are storing your trash containers behind a return wall and gate to remain in compliance, please remember:

The gate must have a solid back.

Trash containers may not be visible over the top of the wall.

As a reminder, always check with the ALC Department to see if a permit is needed for any work you want to do outside your house. Permit applications are available at Member Services, the ALC office or online at the Quail Creek.org website. The ALC Guidelines can be found at QuailCreekHOA.org under ALC Requirements.

As always, Victoria and I are happy to assist with any questions. Contact 520-393-5803 or QCALC@robson.com.

Thank you for helping keep our community in compliance with the ALC Guidelines and maintaining the appearance of our neighborhood.
