TWOQC will be selling thermal totes Monday, October 26 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Madera Lobby. The roomy insulated totes feature a coated thermal film that helps keep food either warm or cold, depending on the need. A zippered closure helps to retain temperatures and keep groceries contained. Keeping one or two in the car means always being prepared to transport food safely. The totes also make great hostess or Christmas gifts. They are hunter green with a gold quail logo. Totes cost $7 each or three for $20. Checks should be made out to TWOQC Charity Account. Totes also will be sold at the November Arts and Crafts Fair.
Proceeds from the sale of totes will benefit the new TWOQC Scholarship Project. Two scholarships will be offered in 2016; one to a female student from Sahuarita High School and another to one from Walden Grove. The goal is to be able to provide $1000 to each school that could be applied to a four year, two year college/university or to a technical/vocational school. Winners will be announced in the spring and invited to a TWOQC meeting for a formal presentation.
