TWOQC September meeting Dressing on a Shoestring

Dressing on a Shoestring will be the program for the September 28 meeting of The Women of Quail Creek. It will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the ballroom. Keeping up with the latest fashion trends can be expensive. Tammi Graham from JusTammi’s Boutique in Green Valley will demonstrate how to take clothing from past seasons and make it look brand new, thus saving money. She will show how mixing and matching items and coordinating accessories can create a stylish age appropriate wardrobe. Attendees will learn what distinguishes timeless vintage clothing worth saving from items that are simply old and outdated. Additionally, Tammi will address body-image issues that persist among women. Emphasis will be on how to be confident with one’s own body without feeling the need to conform to a perceived ideal of the perfect shape. Tammi will share tips and tricks to camouflage those less than perfect body areas and how to accentuate positive features.

Tammi is a firm believer in shopping at local businesses to find special items that cannot be found in the large chain stores. By doing so, it is possible to achieve a more personal unique look.

All members of TWOQC and guests that have not previously attended a TWOQC function are invited. For additional information about the meeting or the club, please visit the website at womenqc.com or contact Peggy McGee at [email protected] or 207-6188.
