This month’s The Women of Quail Creek program comes just in time for a holiday home makeover. Lily Guthrie, owner of Tastefully Redecorated, will share ideas for using what you already own to redesign your home to reflect a fresher, more up-to-the-minute look. Lily first became excited about using the “redesign” concept when her home was featured on HGTV’s Decorating Cents, a segment where designers use a no-cost method to refresh and re-energize a living area.
“Sometimes all it takes is some clever rearranging of your favorite pieces to give your home a fresh look,” she says. “My goal is using what clients already own, maintaining their style and taste and helping them pull all the pieces together tastefully.”
Her foremost passion in life has always been in art and design. After a working life away from the world of design, she’s retired and once again able to return to what she loves: offering clients creative and affordable decorating solutions.
Lily Guthrie holds a bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University and a master’s from Grand Canyon University. She and her husband live in Quail Creek and she’s an active member of TWOQC.
The program, offered to members and first-time guests of The Women of Quail Creek, will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, September 24.
