The Tucson Jazz Institute (TJI) and the Tucson Jazz Music Foundation extend their sincere gratitude to Quail Creek residents for their enthusiastic welcome. The students expressed their excitement for your warm response. As a new band for the 2021–22 school year, the students said you made them feel appreciated and valued. Thunderous applause and standing ovations go a long way in motivating students to practice more and put in the time.

And a special thank you to the donors who have already joined the Tucson Jazz Music Foundation’s mission of making jazz music education accessible and affordable for Arizona’s youth. Scholarship recipients will be announced and donors acknowledged at the TJI Winter Concert on Sunday, Dec. 19, at 2 p.m. at Utterback Middle School, 3233 South Pinal Vista, Tucson. For those interested in upcoming events or if you’d like to make a donation, email [email protected] or call 520-743-1349.
