Planning is already underway for a great year of trips in and around Tucson. Research, reservations, planning and coordination are all accomplished by a hardworking team of volunteers. This is the fourth full year of events. The idea originally came together at an Education Committee meeting in the spring of 2012 and the first two successful trips took place.
Some of the past three years of trips have included Kartchner Caverns, Chinese New Year Festival, Tucson Museum of Art, Whipple Observatory, Biosphere, Mirror Lab, southern Arizona tour, Pima Air and Space Museum and many others selected for residents’ enjoyment.
Trips are open to all Quail Creek residents. Transportation, event and a selected lunch venue are planned for participants. Announcements for these popular trips are always in What’s Happening. Sign-ups are first come, first served at the Concierge Desk.
Cash is appreciated but checks may be allowed for some trips.
