The Quail Creek Fights Back Relay For Life team wishes to thank the residents of Quail Creek for generously supporting the team’s fundraising efforts to raise dollars for the American Cancer Society to fund cancer patient programs, education, advocacy and most of all cancer research.
The Quail Creek residents donated gift baskets, original photography, handcrafted pottery, original paintings, handcrafted quilts, originally designed clothing, designer purses, original handcrafted jewelry and more. The donations made up the raffle prize table for the February 24 luncheon/fashion show by Dillard’s that was hosted by The Women of Quail Creek and the Quail Creek Relay For Life team. The 2017 Women of Quail Creek luncheon donation of $10,537 was $3,000 more than the 2016 donation. Thanks to Quail Creek, the Relay team has so far this year raised over $16,000 for the American Cancer Society. The November Relay garage sale raised $3,500 thanks to residents donating items for resale.
