Taste of Tucson Downtown

Joyce Shumate

On Sept. 19 Elysa Crum, the owner and tour guide for Taste of Tucson Downtown, will present information about visiting downtown Tucson. Her passion for food, education, and an appreciation of Tucson’s culture and history inspired her to create Taste of Tucson Downtown. With the revitalization of downtown, including an influx of new offices, housing, restaurants, and the modern streetcar, this is the perfect time to explore and learn about our city.

Elysa will introduce her new tour guide Dorothy Yanez. She is a knowledgeable professional who is familiar with the murals and public art in downtown Tucson. Dorothy has authored many books about Tucson and its history.

Tucson’s downtown has been the city’s hub of activity and has seen a rebirth in the past several years. New shops, bars, breweries, and some of Tucson’s hottest restaurants are proud to call downtown home.

Whether you are a native Tucsonan, a longtime resident, new to our city, or just have guests visiting, our tours are designed to help you enjoy and explore our city. All of our tours include historical, architectural, and cultural facts that contribute to a delightful afternoon. All our tours are designed to help you enjoy and explore our city.

When you have family or friends visiting from out of town, the Taste of Tucson Downtown Culinary & Cultural Tour is highly recommended for Tucson visitors and natives. It is a great blend of local food, art, and history.
