The Lapidary and Jewelry Club instructors held several classes in January. Linda Milder taught the Netted and Embellished Netted Bracelet; Nancy Riordon, Creative Metalwork; Cathy Hasson, Beaded Wire Pendant; Pat McCarthy, Basic Polymer Clay; Lin Sinclair, Wire Wrapped Cabochon Pendant. The participants created lovely, unique jewelry.
The Quail Creek Lapidary and Jewelry Club held its annual Open House and Jewelry Sale on December 4. Club members demonstrated techniques for fashioning jewelry from metal, wire, precious metal, clay, beads and gemstones. The event was well attended by residents and their visitors.
