On Nov. 15 the Quail Creek Fights Back Relay For Life team will again host their annual garage sale to sell your donated items to raise dollars for the American Cancer Society to fund cancer research. Since 2010, this team has raised over $250,000 from Quail Creek’s participation in the garage sale and other fundraising efforts to help find a cure for cancer. We need your saleable items, such as household, small appliances, garden, sports, bedding, bicycles, tools, and more. All items should be lightweight and in good working order. No large furniture, please.
Deliver pre-priced, clean, and saleable garage sale items to 2494 E. Bluejay Bluff Lane from Nov. 10 through Nov. 14 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Price your items from 25 cents on up. For questions or a delivery time, text Ginny at 520-906-0930. A tax identification form will be provided upon request.
Not only is it satisfying to be a volunteer to help the team on Nov. 15, but we will have “Bargains Galore” for your early shopping. We need your help! Early volunteer times are at 6 a.m. to set up tables, carry out boxes of items, and set out items onto the tables. From 7 a.m. through 1 p.m., help is needed to carry sold items to cars, rearrange items for sale, answer shoppers’ questions, and just mingle and enjoy the event. Volunteers get coffee, snacks, and a small lunch. Contact Ginny at vhutcheson@msn.com to volunteer.
Help the Quail Creek Fights Back Relay For Life team raise $15,000 through 2026. Donate items, shop at the sale, join the team, and participate in the American Cancer Society annual Green Valley/Sahuarita Relay For Life event, which will be on March 28, 2026, at Rancho Resort, 15900 S. Rancho Resort Blvd. Go to www.relayforlife.org/gvsahuaritaaz to donate or register for the Quail Creek team. All funds raised will go to help cancer patients’ advocacy programs, education, and cancer research. The University of Arizona cancer researchers receive much-needed research grants from the American Cancer Society.
