To welcome spring, the Green Valley Chapter, Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) will be organizing an outdoor cocktail party at the Quail Creek pickleball ramada on Thursday, March 19, from 4 to 6 p.m. There will be finger foods, meatballs, and other snacks to satisfy pre-dinner hunger pangs. Wine, beer, and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Dress will be very casual. There might even be a game or two.
Both commissioned and warrant officers from all the military services, as well as officers in the Public Health Service and NOAA and surviving spouses of any of these officers, are eligible for membership in MOAA. The Green Valley Chapter generally holds six social activities throughout the year. Dues are $25 a year.
