Every year since 2012, Tucson, Ariz., has transformed into the global epicenter for gem and mineral enthusiasts. For roughly 18 days, crystal lovers, collectors, and vendors from around the world converge across the city to buy, sell, and marvel at the Earth’s natural treasures and geological wonders. The sheer number of venues and offerings can be pretty daunting, making it overwhelming for first-time visitors to decide where to begin.
On Friday, Dec. 19, Melina Mera, owner of Sonoran Magic, will present information on the Tucson Gem & Mineral (TG&M) Show. Melina and her husband Jason were longtime vendors at the TG&M Show, selling their collections before ultimately opening their store in Green Valley.
Melina will discuss the many venues at the TG&M show and how some crystals can support personal well-being. She will highlight the two best public events: the 22nd Street Show and the Kino Gem Show.
The Tucson Gem & Mineral Show promises an unforgettable experience for everyone, from experienced collectors to those simply interested in the beauty of the natural world. The city transforms into a spectacle of wonder, featuring everything from dazzling amethyst geodes to unique meteorites and expertly crafted gemstones. Melina is available to answer any questions you may have about the TG&M Show and the fascinating world of gems and minerals.
On Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, Melina will host a private tour of two venues of the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show for Let’s Travel Club members and one guest. Sign-up for the tour will take place at this meeting, which is limited to 14 participants.
Sonoran Magic is located at 1910 N. La Canada, Green Valley. For more information, go to sonoranmagic.com.
