If you ask anyone who went on the Catalina State Park trip with the QC RV Club in early October, what they remember most is moths! I know, it’s not a good way to start off a story about a very fun RV adventure, and it was always when we gathered around the campfire to visit each evening that they were most annoying. But bugs do happen when you’re out of doors, and RVers are a hardy lot.
There were 11 “rigs” on the six-day trip. During the day, most people did their own activities and got together in the evening for appetizers or potluck dinners or just fire watching. There was a day of golf and another day at Topgolf. The Gaslight Theatre is just a few miles away, so people also went to a couple of concerts there. Unfortunately, it was a bit too hot to hike, etc. If you have an RV or are thinking of getting one, come join this very friendly, fun group of people, and go on some trips.
Meetings are in the Silver Room at 4 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month, and some people go to the Grill after the meeting for eats.
