On a sunny day in September, a group of ladies from Quail Creek and Green Valley met in “Janet’s Rocking Casita” to paint rocks and, as always, new friendships were made.
I’m often asked why I do these classes, and my answer is always the same: “Because it brings people together!” Many people here want to make new friends, and this is a perfect place and a perfect way to do it, because how can you sit around a table painting rocks with so many like-minded women and not start talking? Plus, as one of my guests said, “I know I’m retired when I can take a rock painting class in the afternoon!”
So, it’s really quite simple. A good time was had by all!
