The Quail Creek Ladies’ Golf Associations, both 18 and 9 hole clubs, held their annual Rally for the Cure Golf Tournament to raise money for and awareness of breast cancer cures on October 17.
The day began with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun competitive tournament with the 18 hole players and an 8:30 a.m. shotgun 9 hole fun event. There were competitions for the longest putt, closest to the hole shots as well as using our Pro Joel Jaress’ drives on three holes. Refreshments were also served along the three courses.
The grand finale was a lunch at the Madera Clubhouse where cancer survivors were honored. Winners were also announced and prizes from the raffle were distributed. It was a rousing day for all involved.
