The QCLGA clubs gathered to raise money for breast cancer.
The QCLGA, both the 9 and 18 hole clubs combined efforts once again to raise money for research and cure for breast cancer with their annual Rally for the Cure. This year’s theme was Rally on the SerengeTEE with African safari attire and animals on display throughout the Madera Clubhouse. The grand finale of the event was the presentation of cancer survivors who were given a rousing standing ovation as they were presented to the crowd at the luncheon.
The day also included two golf events and a spectacular raffle of 63 baskets, golf certificates and bags, a money tree and 50/50 drawing. Rose Welliver and Marci Yenerich would like to thank their committee Sherry Gall, Cheri Sipe, Shirley Gray, Cheryl Collier, Mary Lynne Fischer, Paula Scafuri, Barbara Erickson and Terri Erickson. A very special thank you goes out to Eileen Sykora, the photographer, for recording the entire day! The committee would also like to thank all their volunteers, Joel Jaress for his participation and Eppi and her crew for a sensational lunch!
