After a three-year hiatus, the famed Robson SaddleBrooke Ranch vs. Quail Creek Pickleball match was held on Saturday, April 15. The event drew a total of 108 players (27 teams from each community).
The winner would take home the trophy and bragging rights for another year.
The weather was perfect, the matches were hard-fought, and everyone had a great time. There were 4.0, 3.5, and 3.0 Women’s matches in the morning, followed by 4.0, 3,5, and 3.0 Men’s matches in the afternoon.
The winner was based on a point system for each game. The winning team received two points, and the losing team could score up to one point, depending on their score.
When the final points were tallied, SaddleBrooke Ranch took home the trophy with a score of 212 to 123. Quail Creek looks forward to a rematch next year at SaddleBrooke Ranch.
