Community Safety Reminder

Patrol has received multiple reports from homeowners about driving visibility concerns within the community during the early morning and evening hours. With darker mornings and earlier nights this time of year, ensuring everyone’s safety is a shared priority.

To help keep yourself and others safe while walking, running, or biking in the community, we kindly ask that you:

Follow Community Rules:

• Use sidewalks and multipurpose lanes appropriately.

• Obey all posted traffic signs and regulations.

Increase Your Visibility:

• Wear light-colored or reflective clothing, such as a reflective vest or jacket. With no reflective gear, you are invisible to a car at 30 yards. With reflective gear, you are visible at 150 yards. By wearing LED-enhanced reflective gear, you are visible at 500 yards.

• Carry and use a flashlight. Not only does this make you more visible to others, but it can also help prevent trips or falls by illuminating your path.

Thank you for doing your part to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
