A big thank you to Bunny Mitro for having the February nurses meeting at her home. It was amazing to see the variety and creativity of the sandwiches we shared (plus dessert). During our meal, Karen Baker, a QC resident, talked about her role in the Honor Flight program and the need for volunteer nurses for assessments.
With the heart as our theme, we discussed The Heart, a novel about organ transplants and shared our impressions and experiences.
Karen Licktig then reviewed CPR and the use of the AED. If anyone is interested in the four-hour class, contact Karen.
We always welcome new members. If you want to join and get notices of meetings, contact Diane at [email protected].
