On the evening of March 10, members of the 2014/2015 Quail Creek Seminar Class gathered for a dinner celebration of their graduation. Ten, one day classes spread over October through February took twenty four students on a journey of everything that is QC plus a lot more.

Each year POA Board member Gil Lusk, creator and leader of the QC Seminar, arranges for speakers, field trips and Q&A times to help student residents understand the operation of Quail Creek (POA Board, Committees, Staff, Clubs and Activities) as well as the surrounding community. Field trips are made to both Sahuarita and Green Valley organizations (Town of Sahuarita offices and Green Valley Council, e.g.). Another day included a visit by Robson Corporate officers. This is a soup to nuts course and Dr. Gil adds his own insights from a Sahuarita Town Council perspective.

So March 10 was an evening of camaraderie, a final test, graduation certificates and congratulations. POA Board members were there with Gil to thank each of the students for investing their time and energies to learn more about Quail Creek and the local community. The graduates expressed their thanks as well and heartily recommended the QC Seminar to other QC residents. Look for next year’s sign-up and take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
