The Women of Quail Creek (TWOQC) is an organization that provides many valuable services to the Green Valley/Tucson area. One of the more interesting and fun activities they provide for the military community is a baby shower for airmen and wives of airmen at Davis Monthan Air Force Base.

This year’s baby shower will be held June 25 and will benefit 30 new mothers. TWOQC members provide homemade quilts, baby clothes, diapers and a vast array of necessary items for the new mothers and babies. It is a huge help to these mothers who often are a long way from their friends and family support system. This is especially true of new mothers who are active duty airmen with a full-time job that doesn’t stop just because they have a new baby.

The Quail Creek Veterans Golf Association (QCVGA) is proud to support the hard work of the Women of Quail Creek by providing a $500 grant to help pay for needed items. Again, it is important to let our military community know we are proud to support their hard work and dedication.
