It is once again time to register for the Quail Creek Veterans Golf Association (QCVGA) for 2018 Membership in the QCVGA allows you to be a participating member in an organization formed to foster the rules and camaraderie of golf and also to participate in social and charitable activities that help local military personnel (active duty and veterans) and/or veterans organizations such as 162nd ANG Fighter Wing’s Family Readiness Program, the Fisher House at the Tucson VA Health Center and other activities (MOAA scholarship, Camp Bravo, etc.).
Everyone must sign up each year whether registering as a new member or renewing your membership from a previous year. There are three different methods to do so based upon your motives:
1. If you do not want to track your handicap but do want to belong to QCVGA simply drop a check in the VGA envelope in the envelope in the Quail Creek Pro Shop computer room with the new member or renewing member form (on the wall next to the envelope).
2. If you are using the QCVGA as your handicap tracking home of record, you must use the Arizona Golf Association (AGA) to register or renew. It is relatively easy to accomplish by logging on to the AGA website (https://www.azgolf.org/index.php) and pay the AGA dues and check QCVGA. You can then pay for both the AGA and QCVGA online with your credit card.
3. If you are using another organization as your handicap tracking home of record (such as the Quail Creek Men’s Golf Association (QCMGA)), you can log on to the AGA website (https://www.azgolf.org/index.php) and pay your AGA and QCMGA dues online. Do not check QCVGA on the AGA website, but rather make your check out to QCVGA and drop it in the folder in the Quail Creek Pro Shop as noted above. If you do check both Quail Creek Men’s Club and QCVGA on the AGA website, you will pay an extra $20 to AGA that can be avoided by simply paying the $15 QCVGA fee directly to QCVGA at the Pro Shop.
Regardless of the method used, all dues paid after mid-October are valid for membership through December of 2018. We look forward to your being a member of the QCVGA in the years to come.
