On March 28 Rene Gill, president of Quail Creek Veterans Golf Association (QCVGA), and J. Michael Neely, membership chair, presented Jane Reichert, the 2025 Caring Hearts & Hands of Quail Creek (CHHQC) Military Baby Shower chairwoman, a check for $1,000.
The Quail Creek Veterans Golf Association is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to promote the game of golf and to support fellowship and good sportsmanship among Quail Creek military veterans and their families. In addition to social events and tournaments, the QCVGA conducts several fundraisers throughout the year. All proceeds are used to benefit local veterans, current enlisted men and women, and their families.
Rene Gill, president, stated, “Donating to Caring Hearts & Hands of Quail Creek fits with the Mission of the QC Veterans Golf Association, as the enlisted members of the Morris Air National Guard of the 162nd Wing, Tucson, Ariz., who are expecting new patriots, will be attending the CHHQC Military Baby Shower at the base on May 17, Armed Forces Day.”
Jane Reichert expressed her appreciation for this donation: “These monies will be spent to purchase necessary baby items for enlisted service members who are supporting the 162nd Wing, both domestically and abroad, to secure air defense and homeland protection.”
