On Oct. 12 the Quail Creek Billiards Club (QCBC) hosted SaddleBrooke in the Billiards Room at the Madera clubhouse. It was the first tournament of the Fall 2024 to Spring 2025 season where QCBC’s best players compete with other active adult retirement communities in Southern Arizona.

QCBC and SaddleBrooke always have competitive games when playing 8-ball. This year, SaddleBrooke’s team was the winner. QCBC won 23 games to SaddleBrooke’s 25 games. Four two-member teams from each club played a total of 48 games. Each team played 12 matches.

Competing for QCBC were Patrick Nigro, David Kidwell, Dick Randles, Terry Haggart, Dave Sypkens, Bryce Dohrman, Adam Bodzioch, Mike Ohrel, and Bob Coulter.

Both clubs gathered at the Grill after the tournament to socialize.
