The Quail Creek Veterans’ Golf Association is a welcome contact for all veterans and especially veterans just moving into Quail Creek. Not only does QCVGA provide a friendly introduction to our golfing community, it also helps new residents establish their AGA handicap necessary for all future competition. It is important to note that every level of golfer is welcome and encouraged to join. QCVGA conducts four tournaments every year, the largest being the annual Veterans’ Day Charity Tournament in November. All golfers, including non-veterans, are invited to play in these tournaments. All net proceeds from these events are then directed to the QCVGA Charity Fund which provides awards, grants and donations to local military families and veterans. Since 2013, QCVGA has given over $12,000 to support various local military and veteran families. For more information or to join QCVGA, please contact Membership Chairman Jim Robinson at 399-1045 or visit the QCVGA display at the Quail Creek Pro Shop.
