The QCPAG is honored to perform Out of Sight … Out of Murder, one of the late Fred Carmichael’s fabulous funny and cleverly crafted plays. Fred’s legacy lives on with dozens of critically acclaimed plays.
Nine of your QC neighbors are already hard at work in order to present this play on stage in the Madera clubhouse Crystal Ballroom on May 1, 2, and 3.
The main character, Peter Knight, is typing what he hopes will be his “comeback” novel and return him to his previous status in the literary world. As he types and speaks his lines, the characters in his story begin to come to life. When all seven of the folks he “thinks up” finally arrive, mayhem and murder occur as he loses control of his protagonists.
A matinee is planned for Thursday, May 1, at 3 p.m., with 7 p.m. shows on Friday, May 2, and Saturday, May 3. The bar will be open an hour before showtime. Tickets are just $20 each with cabaret seating of tables of eight (somewhere to place your drink while laughing throughout the show).
Ticket sales will be handled by PAG, so cash or check will be required when buying tickets. Line up early on Tuesday, March 25, as sales start at 8 a.m. in the clubhouse lobby. Tickets will also be sold on subsequent Tuesdays in April. There is no limit on the number of tickets that can be purchased at one time. Get together with friends and neighbors, as we know laughter is contagious. See you at the show!
