When leaves begin to fall, then love is in the air.
The Quail Creek Performing Arts Guild (PAG) Mixed Chorus will bring you songs of love, including the fabulous music of Cole Porter, the theme from Casablanca, “Moments” from The Four Lads, Nat King Cole’s “Unforgettable,” and Burt Bacharach’s “The Look of Love.” The four-part harmony of the chorus, with soloists featured throughout, will bring back memories and create new ones.
But watch out—it’s October, and there are monsters everywhere!
Keep your eye on the sky for the “Flying Purple People Eaters,” watch out for those wanna-be vampires, and listen for the shuffle of Frankenstein as he does the “Monster Mash.” Look around—you never know what lurks in the darkness. But never fear, the chorus is here to protect and to entertain you.
The chorus will begin the concert with their theme song “One Voice” and will finish the concert with “Sing Gently” (done by 17,000 virtual singers during COVID) and a heart-warming arrangement of “God Bless America.”
The concert is on Sunday, Oct. 23, in the Madera Clubhouse Ballroom at 4 p.m. Tickets remain at $10 per person with reserved seating. The dates of the ticket sales will be announced in What’s Happening.
We hope you will join us for the third, and best yet, performance by the QCPAG Mixed Chorus.
