The next Quail Creek Ballroom Dance Club dinner/dance is scheduled in the Crystal Ballroom at the Madera Clubhouse on Wednesday, January 21.
You don’t have to know how to dance the fox trot, rumba or waltz in order to enjoy these evenings; not everyone who attends is an expert dancer. You are welcome to join members in socializing with friends and neighbors, enjoying a wonderful gourmet meal and listening to big band music.
Club members and guests will dine at Le Louis XV Restaurant at the Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo, Monaco, experiencing outstanding food inspired by the French Riviera while enjoying the big band sounds of the Myron Sommerfield Orchestra.
Dancing starts at 5:30 with dinner at 6:30 p.m. The meal begins with an herb pesto mushroom salad followed by a choice of sea bass or beef tenderloin with risotto. Dinner concludes with a flourless chocolate cake with cherries in zinfandel sauce. The band returns after dinner to play their dance selections until 9:30 p.m.
