The annual Ladies Golf Club’s benefit to help local charities was a financial success for the charities. Because so many of the Lady Putters are also golfers who putt to hopefully enhance their putting skills on the golf course, only 11 Lady Putters were available to putt during the tournament.

They had putted a few holes on very small teams before the rains came down, making them not only wet, but also cold. They wisely moved to the clubhouse to await the luncheon. In addition to individual donations to the various charities, the club donated $50 to each of the four charities.
