Some of the Lady Putters started out the new year in fine form, with many qualifying for the quail pin on the first day they putted. To earn a quail pin, one must score at least five holes-in-one on the same day.
The top putter was Carol Sheppard with seven holes-in-one. Flossie O’Day, Janet Wegner, Karen Sheppard, and Yoshie Hennessey each scored six. Hitting five were Connie Ownby, Diane Gordon, Donna Dabeck, Dorothy Hofmann, Elaine Lisle, and Julia Snider.
Ending 2025 on a victorious note when they played on New Year’s Eve were Yoshie Hennessey with nine, Diane Gordon with eight, Sylvia Butler with seven, Donna Dabeck with six, and Fern Hilton and Judy Michael with five.
Yoshie Hennessey, Dorothy Hofmann, and Kathie Muhlbeier each went home with another $5 in her pocket for getting a hole-in-one on the money hole, believed to be the most difficult hole of the day.
