Pickleball in QC is always exciting, but now maybe more so than ever. We can see the progress on our 16 new courts, we just had a new sound system installed in our existing courts, we had a great 10th Anniversary event for our club, we have another great social coming up soon, and we have the best bunch of volunteers ever! From our Social Crew to our Player Development Team to our club officers to our scheduled play organizers to our Club Ambassadors to our Court Maintenance Boyz, we have folks who are willing to do extra work for all our club members. And it shows! Our club is as vibrant as ever.
As one example, our Player Development Team hosts many clinics, drills, and other opportunities each week for players, from Introduction to Pickleball, 2.0 Drills, 2.5 Drills, 3.0 Drills, 3.5 Drills, 4.0 Drills, coaches training, all hosted by club volunteers! And this doesn’t include all the sessions by our premier GQ (Gentlemen’s Quarterly) instructor Gary Quantz. Gary hosts dozens of clinics and lessons each week to help us all improve our game through physical and mental exercises.
Our 16 new courts are making good progress by Robson management and their contractors. The ramada is nearly complete, the fencing is all up, the lights are up, and the courts are all poured and are now being surfaced. The entire facility will be first-rate, with all details attended to at the highest level. We can’t wait, but we will!
