New season starts soon for Quail Creek’s Casual Dance Club

Carlo Pensyl

The Casual Dance Club kicks off a new season by welcoming past and new members to our first dance on Wednesday, Oct. 16. The club offers dances each year in the months of October, November, January, February, and March. These dances keep members excited with live bands, refreshments, and activities throughout the season in casual dances. Our bands include the genres of rock and roll, country, ballads, and slow dances.

Tentatively planned for the 2019-20 season are buffet dinners offered prior to dances in November and February for a small additional charge, and free desserts during dances in October, January, and March. Things are kept “fluid” with a cash bar available for all dances.

New members are welcome to join the fun. Cost of a season membership for the five dances is $40 per person. Club membership is limited to 175 to ensure plenty of room on the dance floor. Season membership includes free or low cost dance lessons, eligibility to win door prizes, and opportunity to vote on club matters.

Sign-up forms (green) are available in the Madera Clubhouse hallway or contact Membership Director Pamela Pensyl at 520-260-1212 for further questions.

More information about the club and dance schedule is available on their website www.QuailCreekCasualDanceClub.com.
