Two of the Needlework Club members made special gifts for American Girl dolls belonging to their respective granddaughters this spring; Linda Kaas knited a special pink ballerina ensemble and Susan Stoltman sewed some bright summer outfits complete with a hat. These members exemplified the Gifted Hands – Giving Hearts that is the unofficial motto of the club. Anyone interested in the needlework arts are invited to drop by any Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Fine Arts Room. And for our quilters, come on Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. (Quilt Covey) to explore the art of quilting. No experience is needed to join either group. We welcome beginners and those interested in learning more!
