“My best friend is a person who will give me a book I have not read.”

Members of the Monday Night Book Club would agree! Meetings occur monthly all year round and all residents of Quail Creek are welcome to take part in our interesting discussions. The Book Club is a chartered club, does not require dues and meets at 7:00 p.m. on most first Mondays of the month in the clubhouse Gold Room. The next two meeting dates are June 6 and July 11 (a week late due to the July 4 holiday).
Being discussed on June 6 is The Narrow Road to the Deep North by Richard Flanagan, a savagely beautiful novel that moves from a Japanese POW camp to present-day Australia and from the experiences of fellow prisoners to that of the Japanese guards.
On July 11 The Gravity of Birds, by Tracy Guzeman, combines the drama of warring sisters, the mystery of a missing painting and the sorrow of lost love, into a haunting elegy that leaves the reader breathless.
