Set on a North Dakota reservation The Round House by Louise Erdrich explores the actions of a young boy trying to navigate both the tribal system of justice and the white man’s laws as he attempts to gain information that would put the man who attacked his mother behind bars. Joe, only 13 years old, does what many teenage boys do and enlists the help of three of his best friends, Cappy, Zack, and Angus, to help him find the answers he needs to get justice for his mother and find the man who committed this terrible crime against her. The Monday Night Book Club will meet to discuss this gripping book on Monday, March 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gold Room.
